In response to DailyPost Photo Challenge “Life imitates Art.”
Found this painting on Art Contrarian.com. There the blogger does a really interesting post about the artist known as Pino. According to the post, Pino typically painted women (some of which I have seen before) but the painting above was a departure for him. Thought this post was fascinating.
The imitation photo is of my son as a 100 year old man on the 100 day of school.
In response to the Daily Post Photo Challenge “Optimistic.” The light at the end of the tunnel.
This is in response to the Daily Post Phot Challenge “Alphabet.” I’m sure this challenge made you think of alphabet soup. It totally did for me. This picture was one I took at a local restaurant. The bright bold colors and the rustic style really appealed to me…and yes the food was fantastic.
This is in response The Daily Post Photo Challenge “Circle.” Figured it was appropriate to close out the holidays with a shiny circle as I pack up my Christmas tree.
This is in response to the Daily Post Photo Challenge : “Gathering.” In Florida this is our version of snow. (It’s actually soap.) Floridians and there northern guests gather in the CityPlace shopping area to experience this soapy snow and palm trees.
This is in response to the Daily Posts Photo Challenge of “Oops!”
My children (at 6 am) decided to give my daughter’s doll wig a haircut while I was inside making breakfast. The “Oops” part comes in when I noticed later that my son also cut two patches in his own hair!
In response to the daily post photo challenge “Eye Spy.” My son with his handmade Christmas ornament. Decorating for Christmas has been so much fun seeing the holiday through his eyes.
