Several months ago a friend of mine asked me to participate in a 21 day fix challenge. A what? I kind of scoffed about eating food out of tiny little colored containers and drinking shakes. I actually laughed about how absurd it seemed. I figured that would never work for me.
But I watched my friend find joy in her new fitness goals and have weight loss success. I had tried so many other diets that failed, could this one actually be more than a fad diet? I figured I would splurge and try it. It was only 3 weeks and after that I could stop ordering the shakes and chalk it up to another failed diet.
Boy was I wrong!! I have been on a journey of weight loss and fitness my whole life and I finally found something that works for me. I found Shakeology gave me the energy boost I had been looking for and the challenge group gave me the support that had been missing in all the other programs. The built in portion control came in the form of those “silly” colored containers also gave me the structure and visual reference I needed. I still struggle managing my sugar cravings but I finally feel like I’m on the right path.
