Meet Amanda LeBleu

Introducing Amanda LeBleu

Amanda is another amazing entrepreneur I met thru Periscope. Her cheerful personality and energy jumped off the screen. When you met her you are graced with a fun, funny warm person who you know you would have a blast with. She is the type that could make anything fun! She has a wonderful, positive attitude and I feel  the world is a brighter happier place after spending time with her. I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with her.Amanda

  1. What is your Direct Sales Business? What type of products do they sell?

  1. How did you get involved in your Direct Sales Business and why?

My cousin started selling their products. Once I tried them I was hooked! I have been using their products for almost 2 years. I was so intrigued by the spirit of the company and the presenters. Of course the initial appeal was the product discount but since then it’s evolved into so much more. 1. What is your favorite product and why?

This is a tough one! Of course I love the 3D Fiber Mascara but I also love the makeup removal cloths. I have to confess, I’m awful at washing my face at night. This makes it so easy and leaves my skin feeling amazing. I have to also mention our touch liquid foundation. It’s not heavy or streaky, provides amazing coverage and is formulated for oily skin (which is what I have)!

  1. What would you say to people who think Direct Sales are a scam?

I love what I do, have tremendous support from people in my company, and I’ve learned so much in a short time already! People also say sororities are bad or you pay for your friends. I didn’t let those comments affect my decision to join and as a result I met amazing women which includes my best friends for over 10 years! I’d encourage you to seek out your own truth and do what’s best for yourself!

  1. Do you think it is important for a woman to have a side income?

Personally I think it’s a great idea! I would encourage everyone to go after what’s important to them, even if it’s hard or makes you uncomfortable! That’s how we grow!

  1. What is the biggest struggle you have had with your business? How have you overcome it?

For me it’s both an outside and internal struggle. There is a stigma of direct sales that you are immediately met with regardless if you know the person or not. The idea that we only see you as currency and not a person or friend. The internal struggle is the fear I illustrate the stigma. That my true intentions are not seen which is to truly help people.

Because I grew up in a church that focused in serving others I learned from an early age how important it is to be kind and support each other. That’s what I hope to achieve and what I strive for through my business! When I feel myself struggle I remind myself to not take things personal and surround myself with other supportive people. We help boast each other up and remind each other to keep moving forward.

  1. What have you learned about yourself through your business?

That is imperfection is ok. To give yourself grace when you mess up or having a tough day! That there are so many inspiring people I can learn from! That I have a voice and story to share!

  1. What opportunity would you have not had if not for your business?

I wouldn’t have met other fantastic business owners! It’s opened my eyes to how many other people are being brave and making a name for themselves! It inspires me to keep pushing through on the hard days.

  1. How does your business align with your values and the person you are?

Younique’s mission statement is to uplift, empower and inspire women! I echo how important these words are!
